In order to create stable road foundations, TACC Construction’s grading services begin with sub-excavation to remove unsuitable soils. Granular B (sub-base for drainage and support) and granular A (base for load distribution) are then layered. To ensure durability and compliance with Ontario standards, we perform proof rolls using heavy rollers to test compaction and find weak spots. Integrated with our survey engineering and earthworks, this process optimizes site levels for smooth, long-lasting surfaces.
