In 2021, Silvio graciously received a honorary doctorate in engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) for his innovative contributions to the industry.
In 2021, the inaugural Angelo DelZotto Fearless Innovator Award was presented to the TACC Group of Companies, led by Silvio De Gasperis, for its innovations in engineering, construction infrastructure product design, and urban planning.
In 2023, the Building Industry and Land Development Association, awarded Silvio with their highest honour in front of over 1,100 colleagues – “The Lifetime Achievement Award”.
