In order to prepare construction sites, our earthworks division carefully removes the nutrient-dense soil through a process called topsoil stripping. This process preserves valuable topsoil for reuse or landscaping, minimizing erosion and environmental impact.
TACC Construction’s cut and fill operations balance site grading by excavating (cutting) excess material from high areas and using it to fill low areas, creating stable, level foundations for buildings, roads, and other structures. This efficient method optimizes land use and reduces material waste.
To control urban runoff, stop flooding, and safeguard nearby waterways, TACC manages the construction of comprehensive storm ponds. Excavation, the installation of sediment forebays and geosynthetic liners for erosion control, and the completion of outlet structures, landscaping, and compliance testing are the next steps in our process, which begins with site assessment and topsoil stripping.
